I trained at the Western Eye Hospital London, Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge and Moorfields Eye Hospital London and have been a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the Gloucestershire Eye Unit since 1999. I was the Head of the Severn School of Ophthalmology for 10 years and have recently been appointed as the Surgical Skills Faculty Lead for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. I am the author of three Ophthalmology textbooks and have been an invited speaker at 10 International Eye Surgery meetings over the last 5 years. In my private practice I offer cataract surgery surgery with a wide variety of IOL options including Toric, Extended Depth of Focus and Trifocal IOLs.
